Here it is, the chapter you've alllll been waiting for (no not really), Haganai volume eight chapter fourrrrr~ Gonna try to focus a bit more on Haganai since the anime is starting soon and all that jazz, so possibly maybe no promises but there is an increased chance of seeing more Haganai soon in the future. Oh also I'll be doing Connect when I find scans for it (typing while holding open a tiny book is too :suffering:) because honestly a big chunk of it is really important to the story. In any case, without further ado, the links below:

ReplyDeletethanks a lot
ReplyDeleteYukimura becomes more and more like Stella.
ReplyDeleteAnd Kodaka and Sena have something more in common: They both tell weird stories. :)
who's Stella? sena's mother?
DeleteHer stewardess.
Deletehmm thanks
Deleteafter seeing the cover of volume 9, i think Stella has something to show us yet
Deletei hope Vexed translate vol 9 soon

ReplyDeletehow do you write the student council president's name in japanese?
ReplyDeleteThank you very much !!
ReplyDeleteAnd a happy good year to you !
the president of the student council looks like an interesting person, i hope next chapter tell more about herself, hinata-chan so cute
ReplyDeleteyes, she seems to be a good person
Deletei wanna know more about her too
Kodaka's love interests are popular people.
ReplyDeleteKodaka's thoughts in the end were good
ReplyDeletethanksand keep on your hard work Vexed
I just don't understand why he want Rika to keep pretending to be someone she's not. She can be herself and still be part of the clique. Isn't that really selfish?
DeleteKodaka is afraid of changes - he has an anxiety disorder and gets easily afraid.
DeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot
ReplyDeleteyou're absolutely right
ReplyDeletewe all were waiting for haganai :)
good to know you're trying to focus more in this novel
thank you very much
i think he meant the chapter that sena tells kodaka while they are playing a game, this probably gonna happen in a couple of chapters

DeleteIT"S HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Deleteso kadaka want or not to be in a relationship with any of the girls? since now he's got some friends
ReplyDeleteI hope we will see love scenes between Kodaka and Sena.
ReplyDeleteAnd Yozora should marry her imaginary friend.
that would be a good ending
DeleteI'm more of a Yozora person. But Sena is good too.
Deletei want some love scenes between yozora and sena
Deletenot beeing an open ending is all i want
Deleteyeah, me too
DeleteI'd rather not have a Rika ending to this, but the rest are fine. However you can be sure that if it's not an open ending then it'll be Yozora, because she's the main girl. Simple as that. Wouldn't it be funny if he ends up with Kobato(considering she already has something similar to a brocon)? That wouldn't be too bad.
Deletewincest is a good ending xD
DeleteWINcest is always a good ending
DeleteThree cheers for wincest.
DeleteThen we are four
DeleteIf you guys want a "wincest" go watch OreImo, since this is impossible im Haganai
DeleteThat's disgusting (just my opinion, and maybe of other 99%)
i don't want to watch a bitchy and abusive sister going nuts on her masochistic brother. not to mention her yandere friend also slave-driving him and him taking it all with a smile.
Deleteyou know all the plot, maybe you do like it xD
Deletelike hell i do :p i dropped it halfway through but then picked it back up and finished just because i don't like dropping series.
Deletethanks
ReplyDeleterika is the only one who really understands kodaka's real feelings
ReplyDeleteshe is the girl who would marry kodaka
First off its *should not would in your sentence, and second off your wrong, it's because she is the only one who understands him that she suits him best as a friend, before Kodaka can date much less marry anyone he needs to take the first step and Rika is that first step for him.
Deletenow that he asked personally to rika be his friend the first step is done, so what now? dating sena/yozora?
Deletethat would be interesting to see
He agrees to marry Sena and then he faces Yozora and tells her what he REALLY thinks about her.
DeleteEveryone else will also tell Yozora what they think about her because no one wants to be her friend.
No one objected against her the whole time and no one ever told her what they really think just because of fear.
She was always mean and unfriendly so at the end she has no support or backup from anyone else.
Like in one of those dating sims, Yozora always chose the wrong path and at the end she gets the worst possible ending for herself.
This is my final friend list.
Rika - Kodaka
Sena - Yukimura
Maria - Kobato
Yozora - none
Yes she may be like that but guess what? They actually like her, even if Sena would never admit it with a gun to her head, she loves Yozora like a sister probably. That's the way it is, they all like Yozora, to varying degrees, of course. That is probably the worst case scenario that'll likely not happen unless Yozora goes through a really, really, really, gamebreakingly bad change.
DeleteNo one likes Yozora because you can't trust her.
DeleteThose elements are needed to have a good friendship.
They will have no mercy for her even if she begs not to leave her alone.
You've obviously been reading a different novel. They all DO, in fact, like Yozora.
DeleteMost neighbor club members never had a friend in their life.
DeleteThere is a clear message in Haganai. If you are like Yozora, you will never have a good friend in your life.
thats a quite tragic ending
Deletei hope yozora gets a lot of friends and even date kodaka
kodaka marrying sena is a good ending though
No one likes Yozora - they all just pity her.
DeleteIt was Kodaka himself who let Yozora fall. He brought the DVD with the movie in the club and then she was punished. They were all just waiting for such a moment.
He had something in his hand against her and he immediately used it! Such a good childhood friend...
Kodaka was always thinking of a good reason how he can get rid of her. Like "The past doesn't matter" and this just means - "Yozora doesn't matter".
Kodaka had the dream that Yozora will kill him if he tells her that he leaves her at the end of Vol. 5.
Wait, you're serious about this? Because with that last comment it sounds an awful lot like you're just joking.
DeleteHaganai as a whole wasn't meant to be a serious, realistic novel filled with drama. It's more of a comedy. In 7 volumes there have only been probably a couple of scenes with hints of seriousness in them. So that "tragic Yozora" ending is not happening. Ever. In fact, I'm willing to bet it's going to be the opposite.
the person who said that the past doesn't matter was Sena, not Kodaka
DeleteSena said it, but Kodaka absolutely agreed to this.
DeleteYozora killing Kodaka was a nightmare that reflects his inner anxieties. That was no joke, this was happening in the "Time Machine" chapter. Read it!
Also the problem being an social outcast is displayed in Haganai - in a sometimes funny, but also serious way.
You should inform yourself about "social anxieties".
Kodaka's preferred partner must be absolutely anxiety-free. Everything that provides happiness is attractive, everything that produces anxieties is unattractive.
Kodaka always makes sure that no one can complain about him. He finds out how he can handle each person in the club and adapts towards them. Every girl gets the positive impression that he thinks about them and they like him. But Kodaka actually has no interest in anyone, he is focused on having fun, because everything that makes him happy lets him forget about his anxieties.
You remember Kodaka's dream at the first Episode 0? Everyone around him is totally happy, there are no conflicts, everyone adores him.
Kodaka wants to live in an anxiety-free environment, a place where he can be always happy. If someone is sad, he makes that person happy again, if someone needs help, he helps. He is completely focused on the thought that everyone around him should be happy.
If Yozora makes someone sad, Kodaka makes that person happy again (Maria, Sena). Kodaka always tries to repair the inflicted damage Yozora caused to the other club members so that the neighbors club remains a "happy" place!
He also don't tell anyone what he really thinks - once again - to avoid any form of conflict. He also runs away from every new situation he never experienced before (he runs away from Rika at the end of Vol. 7). He wants to maintain the status quo of the club because every change makes him afraid.
The author would probably cry if he read the above. "What have you turned my light-hearted comedy novel into?!!" Seriously, this is not that type of novel. Get over it.
DeleteKodaka didn't entirely agree with what Sena said, I just read again the chapter
DeleteWhen Yozora asked wich one was more important to him (past or present), he clearly said he couldn't pick only one of them and asked back to Yozora the same question
She said the past was more important but then Kodaka asked if the present doesn't mean anything to her and after a few moments she said that was a hard question
From what I read, I think Kodaka's opinion is something like "The past was something really important to us, we have a lot of good memories of that, but let's not forget to live the present since what we are experiencing now is good too"
Not sure if he thinks that the past doesn't mean anything to him...
No, wait. I'm sure the past does mean somehting to him
The discussion is getting interesting xD
DeleteKeep going! Really excited
I don't know who's got the point, but the author is a genius providing us such a nice discussion among the fans
I can only continue reading Haganai and enjoying this great conversations =)
See you
Sena=change
DeleteYozora=antisocial slatemate
I mean i'm sure you all have noticed this right? Yozora hasn't changed AT ALL, the only reason she even made the club was to spend time with Kodaka, even wishing Sena didn't exist (which was messed up if you really think about it). Sena on the other hand is slowly progressing in her development. If this series wants a happy ending then him marrying Sena and telling Yozora straight that he wants to live in the present and make new friends instead of lingering in the past is the best choice. Yozora isn't set up to be his partner, she has given no indication to want the kind of future that the lacking confidence Kodaka wants. Kodaka wants friends, Yozora doesn't, Sena does. Its not hard to see which futures are compatible.
I'm sure there will be plenty, I repeat, PLENTY of Yozora development later on. Perhaps near the end, because she is THE MAIN FREAKING GIRL. It will either be the Yozora end or the harem(open) end.
DeleteBy the way, judging from your line of thought I could assume your perception is being distorted by your dislike for Yozora. The author wouldn't have made Yozora the main character if he didn't like her. And because he's fond of the character, he won't give her a tragic end. Especially considering the fact that this is mainly a COMEDY.
Thinking that this is a comedy, then if Kodaka dates any of the girls the others will be sad
DeleteSo, can I conclude that will it be a harem ending?
^ I was thinking the same thing. It's very possible.
DeleteI hate harem ending, I prefer to see Kodaka with a girl I don't like than an inconclusive romance
DeleteIt bothers me
But unfortunately a harem ending is likely
Nobody likes a harem end. But it's usually the easiest way out for an author or a studio.
DeleteSorry to break it to you Yozora fans, but the "main girl" doesn't always win, heck even the first girl liked doesn't always win, just look at Kokoro Connect or even the misunderstanding of feelings in Nekomonogatari both of which aired recently. Sena is being set up AS OF NOW to win, that may very well change, i won't claim to see the future. However this is my fair honest unbiased viewpoint, i think volume 8 is meant to get Kodaka his first friend since Yozorawho i predict to be Rika, then volume 9 will be dealing with his feelings, i truly don't see him choosing Yozora. All her antisocial unfriendly mental issues aside (because boy do we know she has them, trauma or w/e the reason she has big problems that need solving) Yozora never made the bold steps that Sena has, heck Sena was on the verge of confessing in volume 7, chances are she does before Yozora at this rate, heck even Rika was more on the verge of confessing then Yozora she may also for all we know. Fact is that childhood friends often lose because they are ignorant to change, they think things will always be the same, then new girl comes in and they get pissed, its seen ALL THE TIME. I feel zero sympathy for a girl like Yozora who doesn't care to progress at all, she doesn't want friends, she just wants to drag Kodaka down with her, that's messed up no matter what way you cut it, if that's the ending where he never has friends i much rather he end up with nobody, ending up with Yozora is like catching a curse, it's social suicide.
DeleteI bet on Koada ending up with Sena, but I don't think Yozora will have this tragic ending, still hoping for a big behavior changing by Yozora
DeleteOnce again, in THIS type of series, the main girl DOES always win... and that's a pretty distorted view of Yozora. It's like we've been reading different novels. Well, anyway, I've made myself clear and I've nothing more to add since none of my points were really negated.
DeleteI can't say if Yozora is the only main girl, maybe Sena and Yozora are equally important
DeleteYozora is the childhood friend and the main plot of the anime involves friendship, leading to think she is the main girl
But I can't just ignore everything about Sena, she is the main girl too
I expect Kodaka ending up with Yozora or Sena, any other ending is impossible
the only way to know who kodaka will pick is knowing if Haganai is reaching its end
Deleteif the answer is yes, then Sena wins
if the answer is no, then there will be a lot to develop in the relationship among the club members and Yozora problably wins
about analysing their psychological behavior, that's too hardcore for me, i dont think the anime is so complex to go in this way
Yozora is the main girl. And that's a fact. All the Sena development is just to heighten the plot. In fact, the reason for Sena's entire existence is just to provide a rival for Yozora. There is a certain manga though where Sena is cast as the main girl. By the way, there's a pretty chance for a harem end.
DeleteI agree with the comment over the above. Psychoanalysing their personalities to this extent is futile since I doubt even the author has given them that much depth. It's all really not that complicated. A classic case of reading too much into matters.
DeleteSo... Sena is a supporting character?
DeleteSorry I can't see in this way
But also I don't think Sena will end up with Kodaka, my bet is a harem ending
It's not really like she is a supporting character... I can put it this way, all the girls are "main characters"(except Kate and Stella),but Yozora is the "main girl".
Deleteomg, my brain just got twisted hahaha
Deletebut i think i got your point
It's way too dark for a light novel, but I was thinking about it ending up as the Cowboy Bebop of harem anime endings: Kodaka marries Sena and lives in her mansion, Yukimura is their maid (with benefits, for Kodaka), Rika is his mistress, put up in an apartment nearby, and when she needs it enough, he occasionally sins with Kate (who is still a nun at the school). None of the women are happy, but they don't think they can do any better and just settle for what they can get. Kodaka, even with his massive Viagra consumption, isn't happy either because he's still pining for his oldest friend Yozora, who has rejected everybody and moved away to be a lonely old crazy cat lady. Everybody living desperate, unhappy lives.
DeleteExcept for Kobato and Maria, who move to Massachusetts, get married, and live happily ever after.
And another way overthought, but less crazy theory: Yozora playing the otomege was foreshadowing. Either that she'll end up like her character in the bad ending (not getting the guy), or that she'll end up like the guy she liked in the good ending: the rest of the Neighbor's club will band together to help her get together with Kodaka.
Deletelol are you high?
Delete*Facepalms* Seriously? I mean, seriously seriously? I'm... just not going to say anything here. I don't think there even is a need to say anything to that.
Delete"dark" lol
Deletebut it could be like the good ending the other guy is talking about. the rest of the club eventually comes to terms with the fact that kodaka isn't interested in them or that they can't have kodaka so they try to set yozora up with him.
Another good ending:
DeleteYozora confesses to Kodaka but he turns her down, then she gets angry and drops a bomb on the Neighbours Club Room, it's a carnage, poor Rika loses both legs. Kodaka pities her and decides to marry Rika. Happy ending for Kodaka and no-legs-Rika
Actually, I wrote both the balls-out insane one and the otomege one. I thought the bit about "move to Massachusetts" would make it clear how serious it was, but I guess not. The otmege ending is still probably way too well thought-out for a light novel series, though.
DeleteIt would be interesting to read a fan made ending xD
DeleteJust do it!
that would just ruin the series. let the author do his job :P
DeleteNext chapter, please. :)
ReplyDeleteGood chapter, it looks like the Neighbours Club members are becoming true friends
ReplyDeleteThank you Vexed, I'm looking forward to the next release
I want a Haganai overdose!
ReplyDeletewondering if the film they made will be animated
ReplyDeletei wanna see this nonsense masterpiece
Keep up the Good work! and Thanks so much!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this release, the first thing I noticed was... 88 comments o.o
ReplyDeleteIt's Haganai,bro
DeleteIt's very popular
I'm thinking right now that lately Kodaka is being attracted by Rika. Maybe it will be a Rika ending. Then Sena and Yozora will become best friends hehehe. BTW Keep up the good work Vexed! ILY! :*
ReplyDeleteRika will be his first friend, that's a important role as it is, since like Yukimura and Kate she never had a real chance at him to begin with, it was always Sena vs Yozora.
DeleteThe Rika development in these two volumes was meant to upgrade Rika's status to a full rival. I won't be surprised if the same happens with the rest of the girls in the coming volumes. That's usually how it goes.
DeleteUsually doesn't apply here, think about it reasonably for a second, Kodaka can't date anybody, psychological, or whatever you want to call it, he has issues. Nowhere near as bad as the plague known as Yozora but he still has trauma. He needs to take steps. You know how it usually goes right? Friends comes before dating, when have you ever met a dude who had zero friends yet married someone like this engagement came up, never right? Kodaka needs to make his first real friend since Yozora who basically doesn't count anymore, Rika will become this for him as the one who understands him the most, so while i like Rika she has absolutely no chance at winning, this isn't an upgrade but a settling.
DeleteEven though Kodaka is finally noticing her charm and becoming flustered around her? Anyway, I say "usually" because this is a generic harem story. That's the only way I can put it to get my point across. The author chose not to focus on the psychological side of things and apparently just wants it to be a moe-moe series. It just has a somewhat eccentric setting.
Deletecalling it a moe-moe series was a bit cruel xD
Deletei wish a psychologist read this novel and do a paper based on it xDD
Rika won't win, and that's kind of sad in a way because she truly understands him the best, i just hope at this point that Yozora doesn't win, because honestly aside from the fact that i'm for Sena all the way, even if i wasn't i wouldn't want Yozora. Yozora has done nothing at all this entire series to get better. 7 and 8 volumes in and she is still the defintion of what someone who wants friends should never be. I mean you all recall how she described the president right? That's....kinda sick already, heck she wants to drag down Kodaka so bad that she wished Sena would disappear....Sena wants to win but even she said she would never wish for that, its a big difference and frankly Yozora is on the negative end of that difference.
Deletechill out guys! I just wanted a Rika ending ahaha! Rika is just too cute! :3
Deletei make your words mine
DeleteFinished reading the chapter...
ReplyDelete... and all the comments lol
Thanks for the translation
OMG, almost a hundred comments
ReplyDeletei hope sena and yozora get along some day
ReplyDeletethe movie they made seems to be funny
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNext chapters are going to be awesome
Can't wait for it
Sena and Kodaka best couple for the serie
waiting for the next chapter
ReplyDeleteits the best way to know which girl kodaka is going to pick, discussing it now is interesting but useless
time is the answer, we will know all the answers soon
All this discussion and any confession has been done yet
ReplyDeleteWhen/if this happens this page will explode with Sena and Yozora fans fighting for their cause, and I'm gonna LOVE IT xD
"Some men just want to watch the world burn"
DeletePennyworth, Alfred
Love that quote, love that freaken movie, but ya Yozora fans will want to see the world burn when they see that she has no chance at winning!!! :P Sena all the way!!! Sena's fans will like triple when the second season comes out, the PV already shows how many Sena chapters they will animate (or an idea anyway) it's gonna be awesome! Can't wait to see the amusement park arc animated XD
DeleteOne, out of many, great lines from Batman movies, and it suits perfectly here
Deleteyozora is going to beat the crap out of sena and get kodaka all to herself so there XD either way, sena or yozora, i'm okay with it since i like them both
Deletecan't wait for the king's game and the buying kobato's birthday present episodes
Deleteit should be a 24 episode series
Deletethe friend making game is apex
Deletei'm still preparing my body for that, and really hoping it get animated
a 2 cour anime and i can die happy
DeleteA 2 what?
DeleteIt's 12-14 eps, basically the average length of many animes nowadays. Four cour ends up running about 52 eps, which is conveniently enough a year. And in a year there are four main seasons in which anime series begin, so you can have a spring season/cour, summer, fall, winter.
DeleteCour is a much better way of referring to animes length than 'seasons' (horribly vague, can often mean 13 eps or 52 eps or more and gets mixed up with the calendar seasons) and much simpler than an exact number of episodes
but i'm sure it'll only be about 12 eps encompassing 4 volumes at the most since there isn't enough content for a full-season show
Deletenever thought i would read somehting related to batman on a haganai post o.o
DeleteWasn't Yusa shown in the PV...doesn't that mean they kinda have to reach volume 7?
Deleteyes, they told about hinata too, so i think volume 8 will also be covered
DeleteSeason 1 ended somewhere in volume 4, so if the next season encompasses the next 4 volumes, then yes, volume 8 will be covered.
DeleteI really need to see volume 8 animated
DeleteSeason 1 barely barely reached volume 4, if i recall it was the very start of it, i just hope they animate the good chapters, like the king game, the amusement park, the shopping for Kobato and her birthday, the engagement. Idk i just have a hard time seeing them cover 5 volumes, because they still have all of volume 4 to cover (well most of it) then volume 5,6,7,8....that's ALOT to cover. Perhaps they will instead end it on volume 7's cliffhanger and guarantee a third season? :3 The PV already shows that they will animate chapters like the tower and the second house visit so it's not like they will skip over such chapters just because other ones progress the plot more.
DeleteThe first season only got as far as it did because it skipped so much. If they skip less, this season might not go much past the end of 5, especially since 6 kind of starts an arc that's still continuing into 8.
DeleteReally, what I care about most is getting the epic amusement park trip animated as faithfully as possible. Preferably with no cuts at all.
Some chapters really aren't needed, heck they even animated one (granted out of order hence Yozora's hair cut) of those said skipped chapters in the OVA, i must prefer if they are selective and animate the truly important chapters. Would it be awesome to see every detail animated? sure but many times it doesn't work out that way. Heck look at Nekomonogatari recently, they cut down the opening conversation to a mere 12 minutes when it could have been like 2-3 episodes easily by the LN length, cuts happen and if they do its best to choose the least important material to cut aka anything Yozora related (jk jk jk, still tho Sena all the way, it's not even close :P)
DeleteThey don't need to cut, just shorten :p
DeleteAnd of course I'm saying about Yozora parts
Seems Vexed long since known which of his translation's is the best received, its not even comparable the amount of comments for Haganai vs his other series XD
ReplyDeleteyeah, although the other series that he translates are great too they are not so popular... it saddens me
Deletepeople should take a look in the others series too, and of course, give a feedback on the comments
they aren't as interesting, to be perfectly blunt. i have looked into them.
DeleteI took a look at some of then and they seemed quite interesting but I just started so I can't conclude anything yet. Now that you said maybe I'll comment on it later
DeleteWhat just happened here? So many comments!
ReplyDeleteHaganai is awesome man, there need be no further reason!
DeleteI'm not complaining but the previous chapters had like 30~40 comments and now it's 100+, that's insane
DeleteVexed you have countless people loving your Haganai translations, please keep up the good work! and thanks!
Deletechill out guys! I just wanted a Rika ending ahaha! Rika is just too cute! :3
Deleteanother vote for Rika
Delete2 votes
DeleteThank you very much Vexed for great translation!
ReplyDeletei wonder if we will read the whole volume 8 before the 2nd season of the anime ends
ReplyDeletei hope so
That would be really awesome, but he would have to speed up to match such a pace. Well he did say he was focus more on it, so who knows, maybe we will get lucky and his releases will become faster :D
Deleteif volume 8 is going to be animated we have at least 2 months till there, we got time
DeleteFrom BT it seems there are a total of 11 chapters for volume 8, as of now Vexed as translated 4, and while any translations are great so don't misunderstand this is being ungrateful, you statement is a bit naive because unless he speeds up his current speed wouldn't be able to match the anime's conclusion, it just won't happen. With 7 chapters left average out the amount of time it usually takes him for a chapter and the amount of time for the anime, do the math yourself and see what comes up.
Deletehe said that he is going to try to focus more on Haganai
Deleteit's not confirmed but if he does speed up then it's possible. i'm not being naive
Expecting that kind of speed up is naive, the guy has a life and besides that he has given no indication that he will speed up to that extent, he has merely said he will focus more on it, who knows what the means in terms of faster releases.
DeleteWell, let's only hope for it
DeleteSeems the first episode is out! While i haven't seen it yet as i'm waiting for subs, it seems like the tower and the second Sena house visit (going over her obsession on "revenge") are both covered! Yay!!! A Sena filled first episode! Can't wait till its subbed :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteboth in the same episode?
Deletemy heart...
Subs for episode one are finally out!!!! Best anime of the season finally begins!
ReplyDeleteWe have Haganai and Oreimo for this year.
ReplyDeleteMy body is ready.
Thank you! :3
ReplyDeleteSena wins because she always thinks positive. She sets herself an aim and even if she fails she always tries again until she succeeds. This is the reason for her success.
ReplyDeleteAnd Yozora thinks always negative: She don't even try! She can't even approach Kodaka! She just sits there, looks sullen and complains. She likes to share her sad memories with Kodaka and nothing else. She don't has anything to offer. She is just boring!
If Sena has the aim to punish Yozora then this will be perfect punishment. :D
And if she wants to be Kobato's sister she also achieves this, because she always tries!
At the end even Kobato will start to approach her, calls her Onee-chan and wants to be hugged and kissed by her. :D
And Kodaka will be faithful like a little puppy and will just confirm that she is a goddess. In Vol. 7 he described her already as a princess.
So many positive thoughts... :D
that's a fact, except for kobato's part
DeleteYou could say Yozora is a realist. AND down to earth.
DeleteSena may have a chance with anybody if she gets her head down from the clouds. Not that I dislike her, I do like her quite a lot. But if we're talking about bad qualities then Sena has Yozora beat hands down. If we're going in the direction of all psychologist crap, then Kodaka thinks of her as a creep too.
Sena having more bad qualities? LOLOLOLOLOLOL, dude have you seen what Yozora thinks about human beings? not just popular people but people in freaken general? Look at how she described the student council president just for being who she is, never even held a conversation with her yet despises her because she has what Yozora doesn't. Yozora even told Sena that she wished she didn't exist, you can like Yozora, but listen here Yozora fanboy, don't be delusional, stick to your cards and play the game accordingly.
DeleteSena > Yozora, I don't have to explain
DeleteDo look up the word Tsundere. And also, people do say things they mean in the heat of the moment.
DeleteI don't think of myself as a "fanboy" of any of the girls and that's why I can make accurate comparison. I like them both them in fact, just Yozora a little more. I acknowledge both of their negative points, and I must say Sena has more. If you can't see it then you are surely what you would call a huge "Sena fanboy". It's normal for people to turn a blind eye to the faults of the person they like, while seeing only the negative characteristics of the one they dislike. We can only expect a biased opinion from such a person.
Yozora haters gonna hate.
ReplyDeleteMore like Yozora herself is gonna hate, she has nothing good about her, she hates EVERYTHING, she just wants to drag down Kodaka with her, being Yozora is being social suicide, Kodaka never asked for his misunderstood appearance yet still keeps it because of strong reasons (his mother) Yozora brought her scenario on herself by hating everyone. Of all the members of the club she wants friends the least, its proven as she has even implied she only made the club for Kodaka and Sena ruined that for her, thus her hatred. She knows very well that compared to Sena she is nothing, her dark malice sticks out when compared to Sena's shinning optimism. Rather have a weird happy girl like Sena then a gloomy girl who hates life.
Deleteok, now im pitying yozora
Deletewhat a miserable life
I'm rather pitying the guy saying all that. How deluded can you get. Sena does annoy Yozora sometimes, but in the end Yozora likes her. If you haven't seen that as yet then I'm sorry for you. And she isn't going to "drag" anyone down. Being anti-social is not a big deal. She doesn't "hate life". She actually has the best chance with Kodaka. That Otomege should have made it clear that she can have a perfectly normal relationship.
DeleteOne she brought upon herself, if seclusion was ever an excuse for what she became then Rika and the others had it just as bad, It's not as if any of them ever actually had any friends only Yozora views people with hatred tho. Heck Yukimura was forced to be raised as a freaken dude, at least she didn't grow up with such a misunderstanding. She just got spoiled, her only true friend left and her own cowardice wouldn't let her reveal the truth, and she expects that gives her ownership rights of Kodaka based on a past that has long since been irrelevant. What matters now isn't the past but the future, and that's exactly why Sena should win. Objectively or whatever way you look at it, Sena provides Kodaka the best chance at what he truly desires, he just needs to grow over his fear and lack of confidence, which i'm sure Rika who understands him best will help him with. Yozora ruined herself, everybody should be well aware of what she is doing, Sena is a weirdo yet she still moves forward that alone speaks volumes of difference between them.
DeleteYozora's seclusion wasn't the reason for her anti-social demeanour. It was her best friend suddenly leaving. That made her distrust people.
DeleteHer portrayed personality is nothing unusual. Teenagers who are ostracised or introverted normally talk or act in this way. It's because they are afraid of getting close to people.
Yozora admits that the present is important. Read the novel again. And she IS moving forward. And most importantly, Sena's feelings for Kodaka don't run nearly as deep as Yozora's.
when next chapter will be out?
ReplyDelete"All we need is just a little patience"
DeleteFinally caught up the novel! Now I'm waiting for the next releases. Thank you very much Vexed, I appreciate your hard work.
ReplyDeleteHey did any of you notice that the new Haganai OP used Kokoro Connect style implication with the whole "which hand did he grab", and it may just be me but it seems from the hands (Kodaka's hands since both girl hands could be said to look the same) that he chose Sena, after all from left and right he seemed to choose Sena based on the side of the hand that was shown. Also as a side note it seems like they may reach the cliffhanger in volume 7 based on Rika being on the rooftop in the OP as well as the movie equipment, they also showed Yusa so that gives clear indication that volume 7 will be reached, i just hope they don't skip to much. Next episode should cover the Homoage movie as well as Kate's first introduction, perhaps the King game will be episode 3?
