Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Novel) - Vol. 8 Ch. 2

So here's Haganai vol 8 chapter 2. Was gonna release this yesterday, but I had my wisdom teeth pulled out earlier that day, and ended up passing out really early. Incidentally, I have just enough swelling in my bottom cheeks to make my face look like a rectangle. Related to Haganai though, I've included the full cover in this chapter; the one from before was actually the inside flap and was a bit enlarged.       Sigh...people who read just the text and give it no thought like you are annoying, first off Kodaka has reason for the way he is acting, its better than the 99% of harem MCs who are just plain dense, also Rika never had a route to begin with! you may as well say Maria and Yukimura had routes also, ah don't forget Kate, give me a break...it was always Yozora vs Sena, its been clear from the get go who had the best chances, and now Yozora is self destructing so its all Sena.

      I think it's hilarious how apparently your definition of 'self-destructing' is 'character development.'

      I think it's hilarious how you don't know what you're talking about.

      No one said their definition of "self destructing" was "character development". I don't know what gave you that idea. And the thing is, Yozora IS still acting pretty much how she always has; cruel and sardonic, with irrational hatred for certain people.

    They all have issues.

    Yozora = schizophrenic
    Kodaka = identity problem, anxiety disorder
    Sena = anxiety disorder
    Yukimura = identity gender problem
    Rika is just a pervert. :D

    The author of the story also had issues but he is cured now (just read the afterword of the first volume).

      Rika is not just a pervert. She's too smart for her own good. The pervert part was just a front she put up to try socializing with the club.
      Sena's problem is not anxiety disorder, she's too egocentric, not too mention she's a born princess like the novel mentioned.
      And I don't think you know what schizophrenia mean.

      I don't think that Sena's case can be so simply explained. She seems to forcing herself to always think positive.

      Loners with anxiety disorders tend to be perfect in some areas because that helps them to distract them from their anxieties. Being perfect in everything is probably the best someone can do to live without any anxieties for the most time.

    Does anyone else think that Yozora's little meltdown and meeker attitude might be leading to her eventually opening up and starting to change? I certainly hope so. Even if she doesn't end up with Kodaka I don't want to see her as the example of how to totally screw your own life kind of character at the end.

    Yes, she might change - thanks to Sena's positive approaches.

    Yozora needs someone like Sena who always invites her to do something that brings happiness in her life.

    In the end Yozora will kiss Sena's feet to not leave her alone and give her a second chance if she screws up again.

    And at that time Sena will let her fall completely.
