Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Novel) - Vol. 6 Ch. 1

So, busy with Easter and looking for a new monitor (still) means a delayed/short-ish release and :blogging: about it. I'm looking for a monitor with a glossy screen, which is apparently impossible to find now, but if anyone out there knows of any that are still being sold let me know. Right now I'm on an HP 2511x, which is nice, except the horrible gradient shift causing the top of my screen to look orange-ish and the bottom blue-ish, which is pretty noticeable when working with lots of whites (aka working on manga and interweb browsing).

21.5-25" is the target size, and either 1680x1050 or 1920x1080 native resolution both work fine for me. So far the only other glossy monitors I've really found are ASUS and Samsung 3D models, which might work, but I'd like to avoid paying for 3D if I can avoid it. I know LG W2361VG-PF monitors look good, but I can't find anyone selling them (my old monitor was an L227WTG-PF). Anyway, if you happen to know of a good glossy monitor with no noticeable gradient shift and such, aka good screen uniformity, post in the comments or e-mail me or something. Now then, onto the only part most of you care about, the links below:

  2. Thx for the chapter. Sadly I can offer no advice with the monitor since being more than hemisphere away the market is obviously totally different.

  5. Dude I would say to get the Asus VE248H. I personally bought it and so did a friend of mine. Extremely well built and the cost is pretty cheap.

  6. Not exactly a pro in that field but I have a few forum friends who might be able to help. In what region do you live though? If you've posted it before, sorry for asking, maybe I failed to notice it.

In other news, thanks for the hard work. 4 days between chapters? Me likey.

Yeah, she finally did. Sena's is better for me though as it's more complicated, I guess. But she's torn between Kodaka, Yozora, Kobato or the harem end lol.

About time she did though. She was screwing up here and there for a while now.

  8. I have an Asus VH238 and I've been pretty happy with it. I do a lot of scanning/editing and this LCD does the job.

I actually had a VH236 until I sent it back to newegg this morning. The matte screen just had way too much of that sparkle effect, especially considering I'm used to a glossy monitor with none of that.

  13. Your problem with colors is not because they are glossy, but because your monitor uses TN matrix. Considering how they stretch the definition "vertical viewing angle", anything with less than 178 is automatic fail for precise color work(a just moving your sight up or down can completely change all the colors).
You should pick something that uses SIPS/IPS/PVA/MVA matrixes, although those are more expensive and has less of a selection.
