Umisho - Vol 6 Omake

So here's my final release of Umisho material (probably). I threw in the de-texted versions of the "juicy" pages; you'll see what I mean when you download. Also, I've got a MQ version (85/100 quality JPG's) and an HQ version (PNG-24). Feel free to grab whichever you want. There is a very slight increase in quality if you grab HQ, though most people probably don't care/won't notice so if you think that's you and/or you need to conserve hard drive space, grab the MQ. P.S. - The fan translation of Haruhi novels 10 and 11 is out. Not bad, but could use work. For example, see here. Those types of errors are relatively common from what I saw in chapter 5.

Umisho - 129 & 130 + Omake (END)

Here it is at last, the final chapters of Umisho. It's been a good run, took me almost a year to finish these ~4 volumes but that's not too bad right!? I didn't translate the omakes because it's not that important and because as you can (or will) see Hattori's handwriting is utterly illegible. I did translate his farewell/thank you note at the end in the .txt file included so read that if you're interested.

I've also got a colored version first chapter of Umisho from Watashiwa7 (Animelab, aka the guys doing Umisho before me) and I've put up a batch of volume 9 for newcomers/people who noticed any of the tiny mistakes I left in. There's probably still typos somewhere though, oh well. Anyway that's all for now so enjoy the first and final chapters of Umisho with the links below:

Umisho - 128

At last, the penultimate release of Umisho. Next release will contain 129 which is where the magazine ended, 130 which is a short afterstory drawn specifically for volume 9, and the volume omakes which are basically just sketches of some characters. Once that's done my "between monthly" releases will shift focus to Carat! and then to probably Yandere Kanojo magazine chapters 3-15 (the 3-4 I released before were actually online chapters that I thought were magazine ones). Umisho - 127

Delays everywhere! I got too wrapped up in playing MLA, then kept going on and played part of Altered Fable where I fully realized how badly dragged out things can be in MLA. It was already kind of annoying in English, but putting it in ridiculously formal Japanese with obscure words everywhere is a recipe for "Fuck this, back to Himawari (aka Kamina in Space) for now."

I also finished reading volume 2 of BokuTomo which had a pretty sweet ending with Sena getting all in Yozora's face (after being insulted by Yozora for basically an entire page). Anyway, none of this has anything to do with Umisho other than why it took so long to get this next chapter done so links below:

Umisho - 126

Here's chapter 126 after me slacking and not doing anything Thursday or Friday. I've been playing MLA/reading BokuTomo and didn't feel like typesetting Umisho. Also I don't have GanGan Joker like I usually do because of Amazon having to change how it ships things temporarily due to the quake. You're gonna like the way page page 91 looks, I guarantee it. Also shin (otakami) released a bunch of stuff for his birthday over on his site, two of which I worked on (AtLS and Methed). Most of the other stuff is worth a read too especially "Hoshi no Samidare" and "Shinigami-sama ni really long title" (I actually have all the tankoubons of Shinigami-sama :3). I got Methed chapter 3 translated (it focuses on the genius girl who gave me several heart attacks with her HNNNNG) and scanned in some other stuff last night, so I managed to have time to do this today too! Also I might not have an Umisho done tomorrow because I'll be working on translating other things like A Methed to Make the Gentle World chapter 3 which shin finally got raws of. Umisho - 122

And here's the conclusion to the last chapter. There's a note about one of the last lines in the credits page for any literary term nazis (do you even exist?) out there. Also I wanted to note that I've been putting the wrong name in the credits for cleaning. GrimT (the guy who cleans Mitsudomoe and Carat!) did all but the very end of Volume 9 of Umisho. There were a particularly insane amount of redraws these past two chapters and if you have even the slightest idea of how much time that takes, you'd know that it definitely deserves to be properly credited. So everyone give GrimT a blowjob and sorry for not giving you your credit GrimT!
