Hozuki-san Chi no Aneki - 14

Kyou chapter, fuck yes. Also I realized I was saving these as png files halfway through and didn't feel like resaving a jpg so the total file size is about 1-2mb bigger than it should be. If there's a viewing problem post a comment and I'll upload then as jpgs. I have a paper due soon so I won't have any new content till the end of the week probably. I'm planning on doing a shoujo series and at least one (maybe 2) new series in Champion RED so expect those since I'm all out of HCnA and Domina raws.

Also in unrelated news, the Muv-Luv patch by Amaterasu is almost completely done and Hox will probably release Franken Fran 38 I scanned in tonight or tomorrow.

Hozuki-san Chi no Aneki - 13

Here's the deal: I was told last Sunday that animexis had both 13 and 14 translated. This is a 4koma manga where the only cleaning involved is speech bubbles and MAYBE that little caption with white text and black outline you see above Aneki in my picture. Actually this has the 2 page spread I posted earlier, but even that shouldn't take too long to clean properly (unlike my half-assed job). I have no idea how this can possibly takes 5 days to release if the translation is done considering how they were keeping pace with me earlier. I did not plan on doing this, in fact I finished this chapter last Sunday and received an e-mail very shortly afterward which prompted my earlier post and subsequent decision to not post this.

Well 5 days go by and nothing is out so I'll be sticking to a comment I made earlier on my previous post when someone asked about me why I didn't talk to KAW first before starting domina no do! "if a group is slowpoking on a series I enjoy and can manage then tough shit, I'm doing releases." I still think competing is stupid, but clearly that is the only way these chapters are getting done at a speed that isn't absolutely pathetic (pathetic is subject to my opinions but seriously, 12 pages a chapter with a full team of 5 people not done in 5 days? I call slowpoking).

TL;DR- I'm doing HnCA again and if animexis starts releasing again I'm not stopping because apparently their release schedule is very unstable. I'll be working/finishing up on Domina 18 before HnCA 14 though. Links below:

*Update 4/23 - A response earlier today stating they have HnCA on a lower priority than other series and will be spending the time needed to make the 2 page spread and the caption clean. So just a heads up, if you want a better clean job on those pages go DL their release when it's out.

Hozuki-san Chi no Aneki Dropped (Sort of)

So I won't be scanlating any more HnCA because it would seem animexis is back and if you check their page you can see they've been releasing a bunch of chapters lately. In fact, I contacted them and they have the rest of the available chapters (13 and 14) translated so expect those to be released on their site animexis.org in the next day or two. I may be helping them with the coming chapters (15 +) when the raws are out. So what this means is sadly you'll have to wait a bit for chapter 13 since I promised I'd stop releasing because two groups doing the same project is stupid and they've been doing it a lot longer than I have.

The good news is, you can expect domina no do! sometime this week. However it'll take a bit longer since there's more conversation, cleaning, and about 3 times as many pages. That's all for now so just admire Aneki in her wedding dress until 13 is out.

Hozuki-san Chi no Aneki 12

So here's some trivia for you: in this chapter there's a kanji that refers to keratin. I had no idea what this was so I looked it up and it's basically a biological material found in the layers of dead skin in reptiles, birds, amphibians, and mammals. So after much deliberation (a whole 2 minutes) I decided to call it dry skin. The more you know.

Hozuki-san Chi no Aneki 11

So, here's chapter 11 of HCnA. The first page has a joke that's hard to localize so read the wikipedia link if you really care (like any of you do). My plan for now is to finish up the available HCnA raws I have (up to ch 14) then start on Domina no Do! I'll probably be averaging a chapter every 3 days or so though I might churn out another one tomorrow depending on what I have to do with school. Anyway, here's the links:

Hozuki-san Chi no Aneki 10

So I decided to do chapter 10 and I found a few other things I wanted to try and do. Hence, I made a blog. An intrepid anon linked me 11-14 of Hozuki-san so I'll try to get them done soon. I'll also make an attempt at domina no do! which has raws of 14-17 and hopefully 18 in a week or two. I keep saying attempt because I'm not exactly proficient at japanese, I know enough to do simple manga like these, though I'm a bit slow (these 12 pages took me about 3 hours). If there's someone who's proficient it'd speed up things a lot probably, so if you're interested e-mail me at: dummybox928@gmail.com Now for the chapter: I'm a colossal faggot so I only uploaded to MF, just leave notes in the comments if you guys want it other places.
