Idol Pretender - 14

Phew, turns out jetlag and having to talk with all nearby family about my vacation took more out of me than I'd originally expected. I'm back though, and just in time for all the good stuff because there's this chapter of Idol, the next one, Sengoku Youko, Yandere Kanojo, and Methed coming down the pipeline as well now that everyone's favorite redrawer is back. Of course, the biggest news is probably Haganai vol 9 coming out tomorrow, which means I'll start plowing through CONNECT while I wait for scans of the volume to pop up on share (because to hell with TL'ing from the actual book).

Idol Pretender - 13

In related news, a friend in Japan went and bought a copy of Idol Pretender, and got the illustration card that most brick and mortar stores give you when you buy from them (as opposed to online sites, like Amazon). So, that took long enough, huh? Well, as I mentioned several times, there were redraws out the ass that had to be done, which you'll be able to see for yourselves. And it's a release out of left field! I didn't put up a status because I wasn't sure if I was gonna release this next or not, but here it is. There should be another post coming soon tonight that has content similar to this chapter (ie. if you liked this you'll like the next release too). Idol Pretender - 02

So yeah, ended up taking about 2 hours since I posted ~hour. You can blame my dogs, Kiiragi for pointing out that I could improve the tones, and my filtering program for having a gigantic bug in it (that I never did really resolve). The end result is pretty tones for you and an extra hour of work for me. QC'ing took a while too, I made a lot of mistakes this time around. Anyway links below:

Idol Pretender (Hiroki Haruse) - Oneshot

And it's done, took two hours instead of 1 though. Anyway, this is a new series about a semi-trap and his ventures into the idol world rendered in the art style of Hiroki Haruse (Plana-chan).
